A trip to the National Park is planned for this afternoon walking to Lake Roca

This evening we are going to the Refugio Tolkeyen Restaurant for a special commemorative Shackleton's Final Quest voyage dinner.

Local Patagonian dishes rather than seal cutlets, turtle soup and roast penguin eaten by Shackleton and his men

I'm already in love with Argentina with its spectacular scenery whatever you look at there is something to make you pause and think!! This afternoon I am walking in what I suspect is the most southern The National Park in the world. What surprised me is just how cold it is considering it is their summer! rather naively I thought it would be quite warm here but I am already wearing some of my Antarctic kit! Although we are very tired from traveling for 36 hours, I am still finding plenty of energy to investigate this fascinating place.
